A warm welcome to the club. If you are reading this having just joined the club or are thinking of it then I hope I can briefly outline our philosophy, aims and organisation.
Formed in 1982 we endeavoured to establish a youth football club to cater for all ages and ability. Our emphasis then, and indeed now, was based on learning and enjoying our national sport. We believe we have gone a long way to achieve this ‘goal’.
After over twenty six years we have established a full range of youth teams from under 7 to under 17 to a club first team playing in the lower reaches of the football pyramid. We also have three Sunday adult teams.
The club is managed by a very competent committee made up from a wealth of experience whose commitment and hard work have always maintained the highest standards of organisation.
Participation by all club members and parents is actively encouraged at all times whether it be through social functions or involvement in the running of the club.
The club has, from day one, always had the ultimate aim of becoming a senior club to play at the highest level whilst still ensuring that we provide fun and enjoyment for all abilities.
If you are thinking of joining then give it a try, I did and never regretted it.
